// The Challenge

The Problem

The Animarama team needed a landing page that clearly communicated their style, unique value proposition, and market potential to investors for an upcoming pitch meeting.

Context

As a startup with limited resources and a tight deadline, the team needed a website that highlighted their skills and proposal within a week. The design had to balance creativity with feasible implementation, ensuring the page could effectively serve as an entry point for investors.

My Role

I was responsible for designing and prototyping the landing page. I also contributed to the creation and design of various animation assets featured on the site. I worked closely with the developer to ensure the site could be implemented in a short time frame.

Technologies used:

  • Figma
  • Miro
  • React

// Solution

My Proposal

The main goal of the landing page was to introduce the project and encourage visitors to subscribe to the newsletter. I chose a design that combined a squeeze page with a 'Get Started' approach.

The hero section introduces the company and its value proposition, followed by a video to showcase their work and encourage engagement. Below that, there's information about how the platform benefits both artists and users, culminating in a call-to-action (CTA) for newsletter signup.

My Workflow

  1. Develop a strategy for the landing page design
  2. Create a wireframe and discuss it with the team, incorporating their feedback
  3. Design the site and animation assets
  4. Build the Figma prototype
  5. Collaborate with the team to refine the prototype
  6. Supporting the developer in the implementation of the site
  7. Conduct quality assurance with the team

// Impact

The design received very positive feedback from the team, and we successfully implemented the landing page within the tight deadline. It was showcased during their investor presentation, helping the team secure crucial resources for the startup.

  • In August, the site attracted 134 subscribers to the newsletter.
  • The team secured a deal with an investor from the presentation.
